Today at 8:30pm (local time, where ever you may be), it would be nice to join the world in giving a signal for more awareness of saving energy. This is a yearly event and it is getting bigger every time. What I like most about Earth Hour is that you can really feel the world unite - even if it's just for one single hour.

Last year, I was pretty active myself spreading the word - see for example my German blog and my tweets on twitter (a year ago). This year, I just got home from a trip to the US a few days ago, so I'm taking things a bit more slowly.

It's certainly a great opportunity to tune in, switch off the lights, do a little peace meditation and think of ways to raise this middleworld to its golden age during a little candle-light dinner ;-)
