This is just a quick note. After redesigning and refactoring and completely turning the whole game upside down (in particular the whole networking part), I finally got the first network session started today. Just a few minutes ago.

It's not like this is particularly playable again, yet. There's still quite a bit of work to do. But this definitely is a milestone. A rather significant one, in fact...

Gotta go have lunch at my mother, where I'll also meet my brother... and his wife; just to let you know that every once in a while, I also do have a life ;-)

(There's something wrong with the times of this blog... generally speaking, I'm not too happy with this blog module overall... so don't wonder why I'm having lunch at 10:50... in my physical reality, it's 12am, and I'm at lunch at 12:30... just to get this right ;-) ).
